My name’s Maddie and i’m currently a student at a Manhattan area college. I have an idea for a project but I need help.
Project idea: I believe a lot of black femininity is tied to our hair/hairstyles and I would like to capture that. I’d really like to make a photo-set with a lot of black women/femmes showcasing their hairstyles and the stories behind them. This would really just involve me taking a couple pictures of you/your hair and asking a couple questions. (Maybe shooting a short video)
I currently don’t have an idea for compensation as I’m currently on a student budget but I’d love to work something out.
