Mandy loves her job but the stress of her parents not approving her job and boss’s (Gordon) dry, work only personality, drives her to live out the motto “work hard, play harder”. Work demands so much of her that she is willing to dive into any hair brained scheme that Joe (lead for the home remodeling reality show) and Steve (cameraman and Joe’s best friend) come up with, and they come up with a lot.
Her closest personal relationships are also her work relationships with Joe and Steve. Joe has evolved into a brother for her and Steve is the one she works with the most. She looks up to Cat (female lead for home remodeling reality show) as a strong female role model.
