Now hiring Singing Telegram Performers in the Houston area. Fantastic, well paying jobs for performers. Must sing, have improv experience, have reliable transport, and be charming!
Pay averages $80-$140 for 10-15 min performances. You must have reliable transport. You must be on time and dependable. You must respond quickly to gig offers (keep an eye on your phone!) This is a really sweet job for the right kind of person.

Singing telegrams are typically 10 to 15-minute performances consisting of a loosely scripted comedy act/skit and two to three songs. You must be able to improvise and play off the crowd and recipient.
Popular characters include: Marilyn Monroe, Nurse, Cop, Elvis, Austin Powers, Gorilla in a Tutu, Phantom of the Opera, Nerd, and many more.
You can also develop your own characters. To start, you must provide your own costumes. Once you have proven to be reliable, the company can outfit you with more costumes to increase your repertoire.
There is no fee to work with us. Performers are freelancers who get paid per gig. Ideal candidates have a strong background in musical theater and improv, and have no problem commanding a lot of attention and owning a room. Bonus if you have some costumes already.
