Casting actors for an Outdoor Immersive Children’s LARP Experience. Synopsis: Plato Learning is currently seeking actors for an outdoor immersive children’s LARP (live-action role playing) adventure for an event hosted by our summer camp program, Camp Half-Blood. Inspired by the world of Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and The Olympians novels, Camp Half-Blood is at the heart of Plato Learning’s mission of “Adventure Powered by Story.” By bringing tales from mythology, history, fiction, and more to life and plunging our campers into the center of the action, they are transported to another world and given the chance to prove themselves Legendary Heroes.
In November, Camp Half-Blood will come to Los Angeles for a one-day free Camp Demo event during which kids, families and prospective staff will get a chance to experience the magic of Camp Half-Blood for themselves. This includes actually getting to go on live-action Quest Adventures throughout the day, which is where you come in. We are looking for actors to join this Quest Adventure to portray a variety of mythological characters and make the magic come to life for the kids attending.
So, are you brave enough to join the adventure? It awaits you.
All roles require a video self-tape, submitted here or to email@example.com. Your Subject line must include “LA Actor”. Your Video submission should include the following: Your Name, Your experience working with/performing with kids and/or immersive outdoor theatre, and: Tell us an epic story in the most epic way you can think of!
