How do you go on when there is nothing holding you back? The Edge is a short film about a young man experiencing a tragedy and must figure out how to hold on to his sanity without his best friend.
Character list:
Elliot Connolly – young man, almost 18. Intelligent, Curt/blunt sense of humor
Lionel (Lyle) Clark – 17 years old, loner except when hanging out with Elliot, artistic
Pamela Connolly – Elliot’s mom, single mom, late 30s, somewhat controlling
Judy Clark – Lyle’s mom, single, mid 30s, religious, always stressed
Joey (Bird) Burd – 16, small for age, wiry, writer, excitable
Carver – good looking, typically masculine
Mr. Loew – gym teacher, was in shape once but has “desk” physique, dad-like
Dr. Rogers – distinguished woman with intelligent face and kind eyes
