New NBC show “Council of Dads” casting call for Extras in Georgia.
“Council of Dads” was filming in the Savannah area sometime back and looks like there are some things to re-shoot as a casting call for extras is out.
Back in May, Deadline reported that NBC had picked up the show, “Council of Dads” to series. The show comes from Joan Rater and Tony Phelan, Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Universal TV.
“Council of Dads” stars Sarah Wayne Callies, Clive Standen, Tom Everett Scott and J. August Richards. The show is based on “The Council of Dads: My Daughters, My Illness and the Men Who Could Be Me” which was a memoir written by Bruce Feiler.
When Scott, a loving father of four, has his entire life’s plan thrown into upheaval by an unexpected health scare, he calls on a few of his closest friends to step in as back-up dads for every stage of his growing family’s life. Scott assembles a trusted group of role models that includes Anthony, his oldest friend; Larry, his AA sponsor; and Oliver, his surgeon and best friend to his wife, Robin. These men agree to honor their friend’s wishes and each in their own unique way support and guide Scott’s amazing family through all the triumphs and challenges life has to offer — just in case he can’t be there to do so himself.
The casting call is for an upcoming party scene which will be filming in the Savannah area. These are all paid extras roles and according to a posted notice on the local news site, extras will be paid $100 for 10 hours of work on set.
All ethnicities and genders, but asks that they be between the ages of 20 and 40 years old. The scene shoots on Thursday so, rush it.
If you would like to be in the scene, register on makescenes.com and use the activation code “Dads” in the “add projects” section so you can upload all of your contact info, clothing sizes and photos. After that, email Councilextras@gmail.com with “PARTY FRIENDS” in the subject line.
