Hair Model Casting – New York City

ABOUT US – We have been booking talent for hair & beauty shows for over 15 years. All talent must apply, be approved, and register to attend the casting which is all FREE. If you book you make money, if you don’t you don’t. That’s it. We do not sell or promote any products or brands.
HOW TO APPLY –

BE SURE to attach one full length shot (professional if available), one regular headshot (professional if available), and one selfie to show your hair as it is RIGHT NOW.

4. Please Include your current height and dress size.
Please do not submit photos of you in sunglasses, a hat, or your hair pulled back, black and whites or overly filtered photos such as those taken on Snapchat.

WHAT – This is for a corporate hair model job. At a hair model job you will sit, stand, or walk the runway while industry professionals discuss your hair in order for our clients to market their brand/product via an live audience, photos, or video.
AUDITION DATE – Saturday August 17th (morning)
WORK DATES –
PREP – The job has prep right after the casting for about 4 hours.
EVENT – The job works 1 day for 4 hours from 8am to 12pm.
The work days will be one of the following: August 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st 25th, 26th, 27th, OR 28th
LOCATION of MANDATORY AUDITION – NYC
RATE OF PAY IF YOU BOOK – $300.00 minus 10% TOTAL
ARE ANY OTHER EXPENSES PAID FOR? – No unfortunately not.
REQUESTED SIZE REQUIREMENTS – dress size 0-4, 5’6 or taller requested (an inch shorter is typically just fine)
REQUESTED AGE RANGE – must be legally 18 or and TRULY appear 30 or younger
TALENT BREAKDOWN –
LINE – a technique that maintains weight ,one length haircut above shoulders.
GRADUATION – a technique that makes hair bigger and fuller, any texture. , hair will be cut to hairline or at minimum above collar length to build volume.
LAYER – removing internal weight, a technique to create movement, texture, and reduce density. Any texture, any length, could have a fringe.
COMBINATION – This is the most creative hair change which combines all the above techniques.
Models will have their hair cut and colored. The length of the cut will depend on the model and will be discussed
during the casting consultation. The color will be discussed during the casting consultation and will be natural to
expressive. No Color Correction.
We cannot work with weaves, wigs, extensions, or braided hair. No changes are made unless you agree to them. Any and all changes (when applicable) will be discussed at the casting with a professional stylist.
