Looking for Non-Equity actors to audition for an original play to be produced at the Shelton Theater in April. Rehearsals begin in February. Auditions will be held on December 17 7:00 PM at the Shelton Theatre, 533 Sutter Street in San Francisco, CA.

The play is a dark comedy. The story explores a dysfunctional family that is harboring more than one mystery. The father is an abusive tyrant who is crippled from an accident. The brother has just returned after disappearing for 2 years leaving his younger sister to fend for herself. Her boyfriend is naive and supportive and not fully prepared for the events that unfold over the course of the evening.

Looking for the following actors:

Cal: Mid-20’s The brother. A loner whose reserved demeanor masks a troubled soul.

Lyla: early 20’s. The sister. Tough because she has to be.

Emmett: late 20’s-30. An old family friend who has feelings for Lyla and wants to rescue her from this situation.
