Kaleidosound is a Portland based choir who welcomes people of all experience levels, as well as all ages, ethnicities, genders, orientations, and just plain anyone who loves to sing. While we are only looking to fill Soprano and Alto spots this year, future seasons are sure to present opportunities for more lower voices to join.
Singing an eclectic mix of popular music, Kaleidosound is not affiliated with any church or organization. We’re a bunch of humans who love to sing, learn new songs, and then rock those songs out at Spring and Winter concerts. We endeavor to balance hard work and focus with laughter and levity, fostering an atmosphere of honest effort and fun.
If any of that sounds like you and you happen to be (or think you might be) an alto or soprano, sign up for an audition! There are no membership fees or dues charged for being in Kaleidosound. Applicants must have Monday evenings free for rehearsals. Two extra rehearsals a month will be scheduled on rotating days. Kaleidosound has two seasons a year, running from February to June, and September to early December, with concerts at the end of each season.
