Student short-film. Shooting on April 9, 10, and 12 in Utah County area.
[OLIVIA DENTON] 20’s, all ethnicities. Olivia is an anxious girl who, after keeping up a positive and happy front for years, is now on the brink of breaking down. The suffering of the world makes her feel hopeless and suffocated. The only thing that is able to save her from herself is her compassion for others.
[COOPER WALSH] 20’s, all ethnicities. Cooper, a former high-school athlete, is struggling to claw his way out of his depression. He battles internally with his feelings of despair and the false idea that, because he is a man, he has to be tough and not show his feelings. He learns from a friend that it is okay to be vulnerable and rely on others.
[DAN] 30-50 years old. All ethnicities. Dan is a cheerful, sympathetic and soft-spoken therapist who meets with a group every week in an attempt to help them work through their problems with depression and anxiety.
