CASTING CALL
Project:
I’m looking for actors for a short commercial to be filmed in Montreal. The commercial is going to be about an electronic heated scarf and will be posted on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, our website and Amazon, etc).
Shooting dates:
To be Determined
Ideally 2 days of shooting ASAP (I would like to start filming as of the week of the 18th)
Locations:
Day 1: Sir Wilfred Laurier Park/An office near Boul. Papineau
Day 2: A home in Laval
You will be responsible for your own transportation.
The first two locations are very close to one another and within walking distance of Laurier metro.
Remuneration:
Keep the product!
Compensation of 20$/h for your time

COMMERCIAL DETAILS
There is no script for this commercial. We will be filming actors using the product in various ways and in different environment:
Scene 1- Actor A activates the scarf. We see them use the scarf as they leave for the park. They are carrying a gift bag.
Scene 2- Actor A will cross paths with Actor B. Actor B will also be wearing the product. As they pass, we will focus on Actor B as they activate their scarf.
Scene 3- We will jump cut to Actor B in an office. They are doing some work while enjoying the product. After a short time, Actor B will change one of the settings on their scarf.
Scene 4- The commercial will jump cut to Actor A again, in a home with Actor C. Actor A will join Actor C and give them the gift. Actor C will open the gift (the product) and after putting on the scarf, both actors will leave through the door with ice skates.
ACTOR REQUIREMENTS
No acting experience is required, only a willingness to take direction and to spend some time redoing scenes so I can find the best footage
3 actors are needed, male and female, between the ages of 35-50.
More details regarding the commercial and what to bring will be provided on hire.
Due to Covid, all applicants must be double vaccinated and bring their own face masks. When not filming, crew must keep face masks on!
