A Christmas Panto!

The Fringe Theatre and Panto are *finally* returning to the stage this fall, with a brand new, never before done, special holiday show….A Christmas Panto! Join Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and more in this interactive, fun, family-friendly, participatory show! Experience the classic and heartwarming story in a way you never have before!
A Christmas Panto! performances will be Thursday December 9th at 7:30pm, Friday December 10th at 7:30pm and Saturday December 11th at 2:30pm.
Auditions:
– Saturday August 21st and Saturday August 28th from 2:00 – 5:00pm
– Auditions will be held at the Congregational Church of Needham, located at 1154 Great Plain Ave. Needham, MA, located at 1154 Great Plain Ave. Needham, MA.
– All hopefuls will need to register to audition. Hopefuls will not be required to attend both audition days.
– Hopefuls should plan to be available for the entirety of auditions. (Saturday August 21 OR August 28 from 2:00 – 5:00pm)
– Roles include leads, speaking roles (small & big), a small children’s ensemble & an adult ensemble.

What To Prepare:
– Roles are available for hopefuls age 6 and up.
– Hopefuls age 10 and up, please prepare 16 bars of a song from a musical or contemporary song (30 seconds to 1 min)
– All children age 9 and under will be asked to sing a simple song (ex. “Happy Birthday”) or tell a joke.
– You may bring a mobile device to play a backing track. A stereo will be available. Accompanist will not be available)
– If you accept a role in the production, attendance during tech week and performances are mandatory.
**Important Dates**
**Weekly Rehearsals will be held Wednesday evenings 6:30pm – 9:00pm & Saturday mornings 10:00am – 1:00pm (9/8 – 12/4)
**Tech Week will be Monday Dec. 6th, Tuesday Dec. 7th and Wednesday Dec. 8th
**Performances will be Thursday Dec. 9th at 7:30pm, Friday Dec. 10th at 7:30pm, & Saturday Dec. 11th at 2:30pm
**Cast members cannot miss more than 3 regularly scheduled rehearsals.Tech week & performances are mandatory.
