Hi! I’m looking for the following for an exorcism-themed music video/short film shoot I’ll be directing in the Hildale/St. George area, most likely an overnight shoot on the night of March 28th (parents will finish hooting earlier). This is a super DIY passion project so we can offer $100 for the lead actress only, but my work has won awards at film festivals and gotten major press – you can see more at www.lolablanc.com!
– GIRL (18+ TPY). She is possessed by a demon when the priest comes to give her an exorcism. This piece will be almost entirely about her performance, so we need someone who can really sell it.
AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please submit a tape of yourself improvising a scene where you are possessed by a demon; think The Exorcist. There are no rules! Get creative!
– PARENTS (40s-60s): Man and a woman; small town folk who can realistically play the parents of a teenager. Character is good. Country vibes.
AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please submit a tape of yourself improvising a scene where you are praying at the bedside of your daughter, who is possessed by a demon.
ACTORS: along with your self-tape, please include a slate with your name and location. iPhone video is fine as long as I can see and hear you.
(The song is by the new band from the founder of the Satanic Temple, so you must be comfortable with that – but don’t worry, they don’t actually worship Satan, hehe. Covid-wise, everyone who isn’t on camera will be properly masked, and two members of the very small crew are already fully vaccinated.)
