Casting several roles for the first two episodes of a short romantic comedy web series. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience with new, growing production company.
Four young adults: Mary, Justin, Caitlyn, and Rafie, are just out of college. They move in together and share each other’s experiences with navigating life and romantic relationships in the adult world.
Roles available (several roles are precast):
Mary (F, age 20-25) : Aspiring actress. Thoughtful, introspective, can be hard on herself.
Caitlyn ( F, age 20-25) : Flight attendant who knows how to use her good looks and charm to get what she wants. Stays on top of the latest trends.
Jacob (M, age 20-25) : Mary’s ex-boyfriend. Focused and driven on his own goals, does not understand her ambition to be an actress.
Walker (M, age 30-40) : Acquaintance of Caitlyn’s who becomes obsessive over her. Does not realize how he is perceived by others.
Two movers (any age/gender) : Comic side characters
This is a scripted series with heavy improvisation, so improv comedy experience is required. The shoot will take place over 2 days during one weekend towards the end of April. Only the first two episodes are being filmed at this time, but there is potential for this to become a recurring gig.
