Open Audition for Female Voice for Competitive Community Based Choir.
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

We are looking for female singers to join our competitive choir. We join choir festivals all around the world and also participate commissioned gigs (when available) as well produce our own works. This choir is a community based effort by Broadway Theater Society Malaysia (BTSM).
Criteria
1. 18 to 35 years old
2. Able to read music notes (or willing to learn)
3. Able to commit to rehearsals on Wednesday and Thursdays nights (8pm to 10pm)
4. Send audition video singing a verse and chorus from any classical art song or musical theater song (preferably from Rodgers and Hammerstein)
We are looking for long term members that could build and progress together with the choir.
IMPORTANT NOTE
* we are hosted under an NGO called the Broadway Theater Society Malaysia
*there is a yearly membership imposed on members.
* this is not a paid job but there are occasions when we receive commisions for gigs
* we are not a church or religious based choirs but expect to be singing some liturgical pieces for the foundations of the choir sound and competition purposes.
