The show is back in production in the New York City area and is in search of locals that can fit various extras roles. Please see the list of current roles below as well as information on how to become an extra on the show. Please note that you must be local to the New York City area in order to be considered.
Casting directors with Grant Wilfley Casting in New York are seeking both union and non-union talent who are local to the New York City area for possible work as TV show extras on the Amazon series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.“
The show and its casting directors are seeking folks in the local area that can pull off a 1960’s look and are willing to get their hair cut. This is a non-speaking background role.
NON UNION Men & Women to portray 1960s Italian, Irish & Latinx Catholic Parishioners! Ages 18-99 for background work on the Golden Globe & Emmy Winning award show THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, season 4!
Must be okay working around atmospheric smoke. No wool allergies. INTERIOR WORK! Fall season wardrobe!
Men must be okay getting a 1960s haircut if needed and being clean shaven on the shoot date. Women’s hair requirements are as follows: No fashion colors. No wigs. No weaves. No braids. No undercuts. No ombré or unnatural looking highlights. No roots if hair is colored. Hair must be above the shoulders, it cannot touch the shoulders. If hair touches shoulders, it will need to be cut by our hair dept. Short hair is ok. Any texture is ok. Gray hair on more mature women is great. NO TATTOOS FOR WOMEN! Men cannot have any visible tattoos that won’t be covered in a suit.
The series will be filming in NYC. Will be asked to attend a wardrobe fitting in Brooklyn before work date. There will be mandatory covid tests prior to fitting and work date(s). Covid tests are provided by production and are paid. PPE must be worn at all times at fitting and on set when not on camera. We require covid tests even if vaccinated.
Tentative shoot date 6/10 with a covid test on 6/9. Must have full day availability for the shoot dates as we don’t get the call times until the day before. (covid tests are in the morning). Fitting & covid test before shoot date are TBD. Tests and filming take place in Brooklyn.

This is for a photo shoot-scene is 1930s
Tentative shoot date is 6/7 with covid test and fitting ahead of time. Testing and fitting are in Brooklyn after school.
Must have valid NY work permit and trust account set up. Guardian and minor will need to receive a COVID nasal swab test, which will be provided by production ahead of the work dates and fitting date. Interior work! No wool allergies. Boys must get a 1930s haircut by our hair department.
