House of Spirits – Dallas

Improv Actors – Seeking actors who have the ability to find a uniquely unsettling character and converse both scripted and unscripted in that character’s voice.
Musicians – Ideal candidates will play either piano or guitar and are comfortable accompanying a singer. Ideal candidates will have the ability to sing and act as well. We are looking for professional level musicians, but additionally, we want to see character. This character should be sinister, dark or brooding in nature.
Singers – All vocal styles. Ideal candidates will be able to find a sinister, dark or brooding character while they perform.
Movers – The movement in this show is creature based. Come prepared with a unique predatory animal in mind for inspiration. You will be asked to portray your predatory animal in multiple ways, through movement.
Scare Actor/Creature Suit Actors – Ideal candidates will have experience as a scare actor in haunts and immersive events. Must be comfortable working in the dark, wearing masks, creature suits and have the stamina to scare all night long!
Magicians – Open to all styles of magic, including close-up, illusion, and mentalism. We are also looking for magicians who can act or play a character. Ideal candidates will be able to find a sinister, or macabre tone to their act.
Burlesque – Professional level Burlesque performer. Ideal candidates will have a dark, sinister or macabre edge to their act. Strong acting ability or improv acting skills will be a huge plus.
Spiritualists – We are seeking professional level spiritualists, including tarot card readers, palm readers, psychics or any other style of spiritualism. Ideal candidates will be able to act or play a character.
Specialty Acts – We encourage any unique or extraordinary performance art or acts to apply, showcasing your specific talents.
