Virtual online and live in person improv comedy shows worldwide

Audition online for our virtual monthly online improv shows and live in person performances at our theatre in Burbank upon reopening in July. Both online an in person auditions are all improv nothing needs to be prepared and lasts 75-90 minutes. Ages 5 and older may audition. We have 15 teams online and 18 teams at our theatre including kids, teens, adults and all age teams. Each team rehearses once a week and performs monthly online and weekly/monthly at our theatre. All our virtual shows are edited on the spot and live streamed on our You Tube channel worldwide. Our live in person performances in front of audiences are sometimes streamed live worldwide as well. LAC performs for corporations, events, camps, parties and comedy clubs. Famous alumni include Will Ferrell, Matthew Perry, Josh Groban, Hank Azaria, Cedric Yarbrough, Taylor Negron, Jon Lovitz, Chris Kattan, Edie McClurg, Sharon Lawrence, Mindy Sterling, Shannon Elizabeth, Victoria Jackson and Amy Sherman-Palladino creator of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. LAC was founded in !977 by Kent Skov who has worked with Second City founder Paul Sills and long form Harold creator Del Close. Skov has been a member of the Directors and Writers Guild since 1984 and is a
CableAce nominee for “Best Comedy Special.” LAC is a dues based company and also pays it’s performers as well. Dues online are $95 for four consecutive weeks which include 3 ninety minute rehearsals with the 4th being the online show. Donations from our audience online is coming. Dues at our theatre our 0-$125 per month. Performers share 25% of the box office split equally amongst each team and 35% for outside shows. Other pay varies base on the job. LAC is also know for the hit cult TV series Mad Movies where they dubbed old movies with hilarious new soundtracks. The series ran for 7 years nationally in syndication, on Nick at Night and MTV. Looking for ensemble team players that thinks fast on their feet and can create multiple characters.
