In 2018, we mounted a successful Off-Broadway production in New York of our play, AGNUS. In 2021, we’re bringing AGNUS to Berlin!

AGNUS is a suspenseful dystopian thriller that sparks a conversation about private prisons, corporatized media, sensationalized violence, and the looming threat of living in a surveillance state. Centered around the political trial of the century, our story focuses on those charged with bringing Agnus Eli to justice for his presumed crimes.

Roles Include:

RICHARD – (male, 30s – 40s) the Psychologist hired to determine Agnus Eli’s sanity, amiable but not as impressive as he thinks

BECKY – (female, 30s – 40s) Richard’s wife, shrewd but susceptible to the media’s influence

DOUG – (male, 40s – 50s) the Police Officer who arrested Agnus Eli, judgmental, old-fashioned, a brute

JUDGE 4K71 – (male, 50s – 60s) the Judge presiding over Agnus Eli’s trial, clinical, unimpressed, believes wholeheartedly in the law
