Video Auditions for Assassins the Musical & White Christmas the Musical
The Renaissance Theatre will be holding video auditions for their upcoming productions of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas and Assassins the Musical. Auditions are open to performers ages 15 and up. The deadline for video submissions is August 29, 2021 at 12:00 AM.
Those auditioning for Assassins the Musical are asked to sing 16-32 bars of a Sondheim song. For those auditioning in-person, bring sheet music in your key, an accompanist will be provided. Appointments are required. The deadline for video submissions is August 29, 2021 at 12:00 AM.
Available Roles for Assassins: 1 Woman and 2 Men – Some roles are paid.
Rehearsals for Assassins begin September 14, with performances October 8-16.
For White Christmas, the Renaissance is also seeking an actress, age 9-15, for the role of Susan Waverly. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song. For those auditioning in-person, bring sheet music in your key, an accompanist will be provided. Appointments are required. Video auditions must be submitted by 12:00 AM, August 29, 2021. Those auditioning for White Christmas will be asked to learn a dance routine. Dancers with tap experience are encouraged to audition. Rehearsals for White Christmas begin October 11, with performances on November 13-21.
