The award-winning audio drama podcast “Lost in Williamsburg” is returning for a new Christmas episode. The podcast includes both comedic and dark, supernatural elements. All characters have good and bad characteristics. No heroes.
Looking for voice actors to record in Richmond, Virginia. $50 per hour for approximately 1-2 hours work. I’m hoping to find actors born and raised in Richmond or the Tidewater area. Authentic local accents are important. Please submit 2-3 minute audio recording of with monologue(s) of your choice, showing a range of emotions.
Roles:
African-American Woman, aged 60-70. Lead role. Requires a wide range of emotions. Not afraid to yell or cry.
African-American Woman, aged 20-30. Supporting role, though requires singing so will require additional recording time. Please submit sample of singing.
Male, non-specific ethnicity, aged 20-30. Supporting role, unsavory character.
Woman, non-specific ethnicity, aged 50 to 60. Small supporting role. Tough-minded sort of person
Woman, non-specific ethnicity, aged 40+. Small supporting role. Supernatural character
About the show:
Lost in Williamsburg is a multi-generational supernatural drama set in Williamsburg, Virginia. The story shifts between the 18th century and present day, and follows the lives of several local Williamsburgers and W&M College students as they navigate the strange and unexplained happenings that happen so frequently in our quaint little town. Sort of like Adventures in Odyssey crossed with the CBS Mystery Radio Theater. The complete series is available on iTunes.
