“The Stage in Heart”

We are looking for one lead actress who can sing and dance/have experience in musicals or major in theatrical art, and multiple dancers for our student musical short film project, which is inspired by “Singin’ in the Rain.”(1952).
All roles are open to all ethnicities!
This will be a self-tape video audition. Actors are required to submit a 2-5 minute musical performance reel, which can show their singing and dancing skills to our team, especially dancing skills! (The best way is to perform a scene from “Singin’ in the rain”, or scenes from musical movies. And here are the links to examples from

The audition submission deadline is May 28th.
The project will shoot on June 26th, and rehearsals will begin in a week.
This is a non-pay, non-union role.
