Casting “The Mad Hatter’s Gin & Tea Party.” Production states: “Fresh off successful runs in Boston and Dallas, ‘The Mad Hatter’s Gin & Tea Party’ is coming to Tampa! This is a scripted show. Because of audience interaction, improvisation experience is a plus. As this is not a theatre show, union status does not affect eligibility. All genders encouraged to submit. All staff must be 21+. Production does not cover transportation/lodging.”
Rehearsals begin June 18; tech June 25 and 26; opens June 30 in Tampa, FL.
$15/hr for rehearsals, $60/show, 6 – 10 shows/week, 6 week minimum
Mad Hatter- controls the room and is able to lead the crowd in songs and games while maintaining an emotional connection with the other characters (harder than it sounds).
March Hare- spends their time trying to keep the Mad Hatter on task while keeping the guests entertained with songs, poems, and stories.
Dormouse- the most mature-acting “person” in the room; tells tales of the before days and leads the crowd in games and songs.
