A&A Ballet Opens Auditions for All Roles Starting January 7, 2022 for Ages 4-24

What: A&A Ballet, under the artistic direction of Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev, announced auditions for roles in “Coppelia” and “Sleepover at the Museum”. Auditions will be open to children of all levels and styles of dance ages 4-6, 7-8, 9-11, and 12+ years of age between Jan 7-Feb 11, 2023.

Coppélia, a comedic ballet, was first premiered in 1870. It has since inspired dancers of all ages. Called by Mikhail Baryshnikov, as one of the most beautiful ballet scores, “Coppelia” showcases classical ballet in its best form. Entertaining and technically capturing, the ballet is a perfect fit for the entire family and is recommended for ages 4+.

Based on Karen LeFrak’s acclaimed children’s book, Sleepover at the Museum is the ballet version of the adventures at the natural history museum with Mason and his friends. The renowned composer, David Foster has composed the original music for this show.

Who: A&A Ballet, was founded in 2016 by Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik. Both are distinguished dancers with experience as Artistic Directors at the Joffrey Ballet Academy and the Joffrey Studio Company. “The Art Deco Nutcracker” is Kremnev’s 11 full-length ballet. His work has been presented at the world-renowned Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Lincoln Center in New York, and the Opernhaus Zurich in Switzerland, among other prestigious venues across the globe. Both Kremnev and Reznik have been recognized as Influential People in the Arts in Cincinnati and have received multiple awards for their leadership.
