The Diner

Casting “The Diner”, a short three-page film within the tapestry of a larger project.
Synopsis: A tough conversation looms over two friends as they sit down for coffee.
Please submit a recording of you doing each or either FRIENDs lines. Please do so while leaving the other character’s lines silent, rather than having someone off-screen feed you lines that is. (I have attached a copy of the script in the section allotted for a company logo. This is my first time using this site and am unsure if there was somewhere better to attach the script. If the script does not appear, please feel free to request one by email.)
The challenge of this project is filming guerrilla-style in the city. You will be mic’d, and the camera and sound operators will be across the street for much of the shoot. The director will be communicating in your ear over the phone via AirPods, however, minimal direction is expected to take place. It is important that you be able to perform in the public setting, be it by carrying on through distractions or by making use of what is going on around you.

o Role Description: A woman walking down the street suddenly becomes ill. Her left eye twitches heavily and she backs away from others. This role requires someone who can make their eye twitch voluntarily.

o Role Description: Walking down the sidewalk, a woman suddenly becomes ill near you, and you back away from her.
