The Jonesborough Repertory Theatre holding auditions for “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.”
Monday, Oct. 16 and Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre Warehouse.
Auditions are open to ages 18 and up and will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Inspired by the classic 1946 holiday film “It’s a Wonderful Life,” playwright Joe Landry’s version is performed as a 1940’s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” is a timeless and beloved classic in the realm of American cinema. Directed by Frank Capra and released in 1946, this heartwarming film tells the story of George Bailey, played by James Stewart, a small-town banker on the verge of despair who is shown what life would have been like had he never been born, thanks to the intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence.
The 2-week rehearsals will begin on Friday, Nov. 2. The show will be open on Thursday, Nov. 16 and close that Sunday.
