Shooting Date: Within the 1st week of November 2023 (TBA) – 1 Day Shoot
Casting for a fantasy short pirate film about a hard-headed pirate who washes up to shore with a bounty bigger than her sense of judgment, and reunites with her partner, grateful for her return, but weary of what dangers her spontaneity may bring their way.
Genova – A born and bred buccaneer, with adventure in her blood and justice in her heart.
witty, sarcastic, gritty and charming
20s to early 30s – feminine presenting, African American/African Descent
Capable of a Caribbean or Jamaican accent or similar – comfortable within water-drenched costumery for a period of time
Lola – long-time friend and recent lover to Genova,
heart-strong, maternal, with a bit of cheeky sense of humor
20s to early 30s – feminine presenting, AAPI/Latinx/African Descent
No accent necessary but a Caribbean accent is a plus – any hair type – any body type
