About 12 Angry Jurors:

“12 Angry Jurors” is a gripping and timeless courtroom drama that revolves around the deliberations of a diverse group of jurors tasked with determining the guilt or innocence of a young defendant accused of murder. As the story unfolds, tensions escalate within the claustrophobic confines of the jury room, and the jurors’ varying backgrounds, personalities, and biases come to the fore. The play, originally written by Reginald Rose and later adapted into a highly acclaimed movie, explores the complexities of human nature, the impact of prejudice, and the pursuit of justice in the face of doubt and uncertainty. Through intense debates, the characters’ evolving perspectives and inner struggles offer a thought-provoking examination of the justice system and the moral responsibilities of those entrusted with the power to decide the fate of another human being. “12 Angry Jurors” remains an enduring and powerful piece of art that continues to resonate with audiences and serves as a reminder of the importance of fair and impartial judgment.

All roles, unless otherwise noted, are open. If after open auditions the director believes that a particular role cannot be satisfactorily cast, additional actors may be contacted for further auditions. Being invited to audition, either directly or indirectly, does not guarantee you a role.

Actors may present a 1-3 minute dramatic monologue if they so choose. All actors will be asked to read from the script, which will be provided.
Walk-Ins Welcome! You can also submit a video audition to artsunlimitedllc@yahoo.com or request a Zoom audition. Those emailing, please include resume and headshot. We want to ensure that all interested actors have an opportunity to audition.

Those attending Saturday *may* be asked to return on Sunday for callbacks. Only those called back will be contacted. NOTE: not being called back does NOT mean that you are not cast in the show. Likewise, being called back does not guarantee a role.
