A monologue memorized from a contemporary play and/or musical that is NO MORE than 1 minute in length.
Jon: Male, Vocal range Top: A4 | Bottom: A2, Any Ethnicity, Age range 25 – 30. Jon (Jonathan Larson) is on the brink of celebrating his 30th birthday. A struggling New York composer searching for balance in his life along with his “big break” in the business. Charming in a way, a bit of a nerdy/awkward vibe, can become a little self-centered at times. Strong narrator that can control the stage, interact with audience, comedic timing. Michael’s roommate and Susan’s boyfriend. Ability to play piano is not required but would be a plus.

He was a former actor, now turned market research executive. Moved on in his life when it comes to career and is moving forward in life. Michael is a truly caring and kind person…a genuine soul.
