Casting for: ‘The Revisionists’, a walking ghost tour, is looking for actors for this year’s moving theatrical thriller. All roles PAID, non-union. Production takes place the last three weekend evenings in October at Rockwood Park and Museum (http://www.rockwood.org/).

We are currently seeking:
HARVEY KECK – High strung, former embalmer turned typewriter salesman, hopelessly in love with ‘Irene’. Ambitious dreamer trying to write the perfect piece to sell but foiled by a pothole. (Able to play stage age 20s – 40s)
McKay – Cranky gardener real prickly about privacy. Has lots of interesting tools… (Able to play stage age 40s – beyond.)
Father – Concerned parent of peculiar daughter, maybe in love with her Nanny. (Middle age male.)

About the Production:
Five original stories are shared at Rockwood Park. Each individual ghost-story walk through Rockwood’s gardens is led by a character known as a “Revisionist”, an individual who retains the innate ability to speak with the un-living, to hear their tales, and at times help to reveal and rewrite their circumstances and untimely demise and guide them back to the spirit world. Tours are led by lamplight, and viewers will hear never-before-heard handwritten tales mixed with apparition vignettes as the night unfolds.
This mobile theatrical experience is a history lesson with a dark dollop of the Victorian Macabre. The haunted story walk is a guided tour that lasts 90 minutes and is true Victorian traditional handwritten storytelling at its finest, from eras rife with supernatural themes and practices, including mourning, spiritualism and funeral traditions.
