If you live in the Atlanta, Georgia area, here is your shot to get on Stranger Things. The Netflix original show “Stranger Things“ is now back in production.

The casting directors for the Netflix supernatural series are looking for Atlanta area residents who would like a chance to work as paid extras / background actors on the set of “Stranger Things.”

The show was in production of season 5 back in the spring of this year and like other shows, production was paused for the strikes. Now that the strikes are over, “Stranger Things” season 5 is gearing up to finish production of season 5.

Set in the 1980’s, “Stranger Things” is a nostalgic science fiction-horror series that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Created by the Duffer Brothers, the show is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. At its core, “Stranger Things” blends supernatural elements with the genuine bonds of friendship among a group of kids—Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and the mysterious Eleven. The narrative unfolds as they embark on a quest to find their missing friend, Will Byers. As the group delves deeper into the mystery, they encounter government experiments, alternate dimensions, and a creature known as the Demogorgon. “Stranger Things” is set in the 1980s – so it is very important that you upload a current selfie with today’s date on a piece of paper. We need to see exactly how your hair/facial hair looks for hair/makeup purposes. Because of the nature of this show, we ask:

MALES : PLEASE DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR OR SHAVE YOUR SIDEBURNS BETWEEN NOW AND FILMING
FEMALES : WE ASK FOR YOUR HAIR COLOR TO BE A NATURAL COLOR. SHORTER STYLES, LAYERS AND BANGS ARE GREAT! PLEASE ALSO NO ARTIFICIAL NAILS OR BRIGHT COLORED NAILS. NO EXTREMELY LONG NAILS. TRY TO STICK TO AS NATURAL AND NEUTRAL AS POSSIBLE. The french manicure was very popular and the “chiclet” style (squared off) for length – so this is an acceptable style.
