Pet casting call for Chewy.
Love Star Wars? Does your pet remind you of Yoda? If so, here is a way to get your fuzzy friend some well deserved spotlight! The company is holding an online casting call for dogs, cats and all the pets in between to appear in one of their promos for the upcoming Star Wars event called “May the 4th be with You” which is kicking off now. The casting call for pets will be held on social media and those who would love a chance to participate will have to snap some pictures and of course post those pictures online using the required hashtags.
Specifically, they are seeking pets that look like Yoda, so your hairless cats and bully dogs may have that look. Also, I can think of lots of mutts that can pass for a Yoda look-a-like with the odd hair.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 comes to Disney+ on May 4, 2023…so, may the 4th be with you, and your pet.

Awaken the creative force within! Chewy is searching near and far for all Yoda pet lookalikes.
The best Yoda will embark on an epic mission for an out-of-this-galaxy campaign featuring Star Wars items available only at Chewy. Does your pet have Yoda’s pointy ears or wise wrinkles? Are they inspirational and always teaching you a lesson? Are they legendary yet adorable?
Submissions will be accepted starting on Star Wars Day, May 4, through the month of May. All you need to do is share a photo of your Yoda lookalike pet on social media, tag @Chewy and use the hashtags #ChewyCastingCall and #Maythe4thBeWithYou.
The best Yoda lookalike will be chosen by Chewy’s Pet Talent Team to receive the following VIP (Very Important Pet) package:
