Columbia’s Haunted Lantern Tour, Civil War Open Auditions in Columbia, Pennsylvania

IN NEED OF 15 MALE PERFORMERS AND 15 FEMALE PERFORMERS

Columbia’s Haunted Lantern Tour, Civil War
Seeking individuals (13+), non-union, singers & actors of all ethnicities and gender identities, to perform in this perfect combination of history and spooky entertainment.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 8th, from 8:00am to 3:00pm at Art Printing Company Located at 131 Locust Street, Columbia Pennsylvania 17512.
No acting experience necessary
No headshots or resumes necessary (welcomed if you wish to provide them)
No prepared lines necessary – scripts to read will be provided upon arrival to auditions.

Singers:
There are 7-10 singing roles available
Shanagolden (solo) – female

This song is accompanied by a monologue script prior to the song.

Battle Hymn of the Republic (Ensamble) – male and female

This song is not accompanied by any speaking roles.
This song will begin and end solo with staggered entrances of 5-10 other singers joining in in as the verses continue.
Performing the songs above during auditions is required for those interested in a singing role.
Rehearsals will be held on Thursday evenings for one hour and Sunday mornings for 2 hours from July 16th through October 1st.

The following dates require mandatory availability to participate in this performance:
7/16/23 – First Rehearsal
10/8/23 – Dress Rehearsal
10/13, 10/14, 10/15, 10/20, 10/21, 10/22 – Performances

Performances:
Call: 3:00pm (costume, hair, and makeup)
Step (curtain): 6:30pm
Tours run every half hour from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Friday’s and Saturdays
Tours run every half hour from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Sundays
