Rebel Wilson’s new comedy “Bride Hard” is filming in Savannah this summer and there is a casting call out.
Rebel Wilson of Pitch Perfect and The Hustle is starring in a new comedy currently titled “Bride Hard.” The movie which is described as an action / comedy film is being directed by Expendables 2 director, Simon West.
According to the movies description from Deadline, “badass secret agent Sam (Wilson) who has been tasked with one of her hardest missions yet – being a Maid of Honor for her childhood best friend”. Deadline also states that the screenplay was written by Shaina Steinberg from a story by Steinberg and CeCe Pleasants.
The IMDB description reads as follows:
When a mercenary group takes a lavish wedding hostage, they have no idea what they are in for as the Maid of Honor is actually a secret agent ready to rain hell-fire upon anyone who would ruin her best friend’s wedding.

Our schedule is shifting slightly, so I don’t have exact dates on what these new roles work.
NAVY SEALS (look for real, experienced military/ law enforcement) – fit men and women 20-40. No facial hair (SUBJECT: SEALS) (Can not have worked BRIDE HARD already). If you know anyone who might be a good fit, tag them in. I know this isn’t something our first responders and military peeps regularly seek out, but this is a super cool rescue scene at the end of the movie.

PEOPLE WITH VESPAS: men and women 18-50: MUST HAVE VESPA SCOOTER. Seeking talent to play Parisans on Vespas. (SUBJECT: VESPA) – and send a pic of the Vespa.
