Casting notice for New Beginnings, a limited series filming in early September. Now casting all roles.
LOCATION: Orange County & Greater Los Angeles County area
Compensation: TBD – Most roles are copy, credit, and meals. However, some roles the rate of pay is negotiable based on role and experience. Talent is responsible for all travel expenses. This project is signatory to the SAG-AFTRA Micro-Budget Project Agreement. Open to working with both Union and Non-Union talent.

Abraham (15) Black male
15 going on 60, old soul, classically trained musician and
composer, socially awkward, overachiever
Heather (16) Latina
Wiry, blue-haired Latina
The black sheep of her family, keeps childhood secret locked away
Kit (13) female, no specific race
fearless, chronic runaway, distrusts rehab facilities,
Skateboarding rebel who loves classic Indie punk music
(has every Avril Lavigne song in her phone)
Mickey (14) White male
Skittish, nervous, loves his headphones
Looks menacing, but his bark is much worse than his bite
Nurse Hack (30s) female, no preferred ethnicity
Stunningly statuesque, nurse by day, boxer by night
DR. RANDALL MOYNIHAN (Male, 30s, no preferred ethnicity)
Cool and corny in that Youth Pastor kind of way, group leader, loves Taco Tuesday
6-YEAR OLD HEATHER – non-speaking role, innocent, sweet, happy
ER CRASH NURSE – no specific race or gender
HEATHER’S DAD, (30s) – fat, chubby, greasy, oily looking trainwreck of
a man
HEATHER’S MOM, (30s) – weak, meek, and frail
