CASTING CALL | NBA FANS – FAMILIES | NBA x MICROSOFT
We’re casting NBA fans for a video shoot for NBA x Microsoft. We need families with parents +kids or grandparents + grandkids. Groups of 2-3 preferred, but larger groups will be considered..
Pay is $1500/adults and $1000/kids for 1 day of work (plus a wardrobe fitting) in Portland, OR on Tue 11/7. Must be live in Oregon or Washington. Must disclose your talent agency if applicable.

Seeking:
We need NBA fans for a video shoot for the NBA app powered by Microsoft. We’re looking for enthusiastic fans of all NBA teams, including:
- Families | Parents + Kid(s), Grandparents + Grandkid(s). Groups of 2-3 preferred, but larger groups will be considered.
- Groups of Adults | Friends, Couples, Siblings/Twins (2-3 people, age 18+)
- Individual Adults | all identities, especially seniors and fans of nonlocal teams.
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should be a real NBA fan feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.
Please note, if hired you must be willing to download the NBA App, customize it, and speak about your favorite aspects of the app.

SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR
We are only considering talent who are based in Oregon/Washington. We will not book talent who need to fly in for the shoot.
SHOOT DATES: Tue 11/7, with a 1-2 hour wardrobe fitting on Mon 11/6. Zoom callbacks (1 hour) on Wed 11/1.
Please only apply if you can be flexible enough to clear the entire shoot date if hired. Please do not clear your schedule after applying; we will request you hold the dates if you are selected. Partial conflicts on the callbacks or fitting dates are fine as long as you have some availability during business hours
Pay if Hired:
- Adults (14+) $1500
- Kids (under 14) $1000
Pay includes up to 10 hours of work on the shoot date, a 1-2 hour wardrobe fitting the day before, and the use of your image by the advertiser as outlined in the usage terms below.
Mileage/lodging stipend available for talent who live more within OR/WA who are more than 100 miles from Portland (no talent coming from other states.)
Talent agents: Client does not have a +20% budgeted, all agency fees must be backed out of talent rates.
USAGE TERMS: 1 year Digital/Web/Social/New-media/Linear TV/OTT. Archival rights in perpetuity. Additional pay of $1650/adults or $1100/kids may be available if the client decides to extend the usage after the original terms (not guaranteed.)
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be based in Oregon/Washington and be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with all COVID19 protocols. If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.
