Get cast in a small role for a new Tyler Perry movie called “Mea Culpa.”
The movie is filming in the Atlanta area this winter and spring and is currently casting background actors / paid extras, who live in and around the Atlanta, Georgia area . These are all paid extras roles and non speaking background work. Casting directors are only considering extras that are local to the area.
Kelly Rowland stars in Tyler Perry’s new Netflix film project, “Mea Culpa.” The “Mea Culpa” cast also includes Trevante Rhodes, RonReaco Lee, Nick Sagar, and Sean Sagar. As with most of Tyler Perry’s projects, Perry is the writer and the director. The movie is a drama that focuses on a criminal defense lawyer who takes on a murder case of a man who is accused of murdering his girlfriend and he has questions about if the client actually did murder her.
This newest movie is one of a few that Tyler Perry has been working on for Netflix. Another project called Six Triple Eight, is also currently in production. This will be Perry’s 5th feature film in his collaboration with Netflix.

COVID TESTING:
The new policy at the studios is that 1 MANDATORY COVID TEST the day before work is required whether you are vaccinated or not. You will be paid $25 for each test taken.
Must be available for COVID 19 testing at our remote testing location in Atlanta. No outside Covid test from anywhere else will be allowed. If interested in working this position and these dates, testing goes as stated above with the specific filming dates.
-Testing is NASAL PCR and you will receive a $25 COVID TESTING BUMP on your voucher the day you report to set for each test taken. YOU MUST REPORT TO SET TO RECEIVE THIS BUMP! Tests from other productions are not valid on this set as each production has their own Covid guidelines and labs. Your results must come from the designated lab that all cast, and crew use on this production.
The rate for extras on this production is $300 for 12hrs of work which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
