Are you looking to join an awesome co-ed acappella group in Chicago? Lake Shore Jive is holding auditions for talented singers of all voice parts!
Do you have acappella or other close harmony singing experience? Are you searching for a creative outlet to be a part of with a great group of fun, talented singers? If so, we want to hear from you!
Lake Shore Jive is a semi-professional, co-ed Chicago a cappella group that’s been on the scene for about 25 years. Our members range in age and come from diverse backgrounds, and many have sung with and arranged music for their collegiate acappella groups all over the US. LSJ has had the pleasure of performing at venues all over Chicagoland and across the country, including weddings, corporate events, birthday/retirement/holiday parties, street fests, and have sung the Star-Spangled Banner at several sporting events in Chicago. Our music spans the decades; covering everything from current pop and rock, to jazz, Motown, and everything in between.
We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings from 7:30-9:30 in the Chicago area. We perform a few times a year, with a weekend trip every May, as part of our exclusive membership with the AACA (American A Cappella Alliance).
