The Game’s Afoot: “It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous.”
St. Croix Festival Theatre is seeking two actors (Female, Male, Gender-Nonconforming, Non-binary, Trans Female, Trans Male are all welcome to apply) for its holiday show.
The Game’s Afoot is a very funny, fun, suspenseful murder mystery that just so happens to be set during the holidays.
Casting for two roles:
- Simon (Age range 20-35) – Young leading man. Sweet, energetic and enthusiastic. Aggie’s boyfriend.
- Madge – (Age range 30-50) – A leading lady, smart and passionate and delightful in a Rosalind Russell, smart-mouthed, girl-about-town kind of way.
Rehearsals begin October 30th.
Rehearses 5 nights a week
Stipend – $1000
