NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet will be holding auditions for kids in Indianapolis.
The Nutcracker Magical Christmas Ballet is a holiday tradition that performs coast to coast. The ballet is part of the Moscow Ballet performances that entertain audiences across all 50 states for the holidays.
The ballet is unique in that it allows local youth to perform on stage alongside professionals in large theaters in their own communities.
This season, Premier Academy of Dance is hosting open auditions for children wanting to participate in the December 5 performance at the Murat Theatre.

About the ballet:
“NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet” is a timeless holiday production that has become a cherished tradition for families and ballet enthusiasts around the world. This magical ballet, often performed during the festive season, transports audiences into a whimsical and dreamlike world where toys come to life, sugar plum fairies dance, and a young girl’s imagination takes flight. The ballet is set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, which captures the spirit of Christmas with its evocative melodies and stirring compositions.
In partnership with Premier Academy of Dance, children ages 6-17 participate for the opportunity to be a part of the production. Following the audition, audition director and company soloist Maria will be conducting an initial rehearsal with the selected dancers.
Auditions will be hosted at Premier Academy of Dance at 8405 E US Hwy 36 in Avon starting at 10 a.m.
