CASTING CALL for CULT OF PERSONALITY

This project is a Feature Film for my Master of Fine Arts Thesis Project at the University of Central Florida.

Shoot Location: Orlando, FL
Rate of Pay / Contract: Little to no pay.
Please submit demo reels and resumes with your submission. If you do not have a demo reel, let me know and I will send you a monologue to film yourself with.
Also, when it comes to auditions, there will be one help in person. However, if there are individuals who are interested in auditioning and cannot make it, I will gladly do a Virtual Audition through Zoom or any other Video Conference Program.

Logline: A successful therapist’s life is turned upside down when a figure from his past resurfaces and threatens to ruin the stability in his life. Synopsis – Successful therapist, Daniel Winters, is furthering his success by starting a new business venture with his business partners. While the business is slowly being built, a figure from his past resurfaces back into his life in which begins a roller coaster of events in Daniel’s life. At times, Daniel internally struggles with the notion that he may have to make specific decisions to keep his life stable.

[DANIEL WINTERS]
With tattoos (If possible) Can grow a beard, athletically built. Stunt or fight experience is a HUGE plus. 28 to 36 years old, all ethnicities man. If younger than 28, we would have to try and make you look older.
Daniel is a successful psychologist. He is married and is expecting his first child with his wife. He is currently in the middle of a major business deal with two other people that will form a new partnership and open a new private practice. Until a figure from his past reappears and turns everything awry.
[DAMIEN]
20 to 30 years old, all ethnicities man. Tattoos (if possible), Average build to slightly slimmer. Beard, long hair (if possible), stunts and fight experience is a HUGE PLUS. Punk/Metalhead style/personality as well.
Has anger issues. He is the leader of a cult like family in which he was a member of for many years. He is one of the longest and oldest members of the family.

20 to 30 years old, all ethnicities man. Average body type.
He is the right-hand man of Damien’s. He is Damien’s closest friend in the family. Like Damien, he joined the family when he had nowhere else to go. He becomes a little regretful with how Damien treats the rest of the members in the family. He is the one who is on top of things and trying to make sure that the family is taken care of.

40 to 50 years old, all ethnicities man. Basic physical characteristics. Nothing crazy.
He is the former leader of the cult-like family that Damien is the leader of. He took Damien in when he had nowhere else to go. Essentially being a father figure of sorts to Damien.
[MULTIPLE SUPPORTING ROLES]
18 to 60 years old, all ethnicities any gender. There are multiple Supporting that will need to be filled with every gender and ever age available. The roles go as far as patients for Daniel, business associates, receptionists, and many more.
