Community theater auditions for kids in the Austin, MN area coming up for 2 shows.
Summerset Theatre will be holding open audition for “Annie” and “Bright Star.” The production is casting both kids and adults.
Summerset Theatre is opening up its 56th Season and will be featuring the beloved classics “Annie” and “Bright Star.” Auditions will be held on Friday, April 12, with sessions for kids aged 8-16 starting at 6 p.m., followed by auditions for adults from 7:30-9 p.m. Additional audition slots will be available on Saturday, April 13, with sessions for kids (Annie only) at 9 a.m. and for adults (Annie and Bright Star) at 10:30 a.m.
All auditions will take place at the Frank W. Bridges Theatre. We are seeking talented individuals of all experience levels to join our productions.
Looking for more auditions in Minnesota?
No prior experience is required, and participants can attend auditions on either date. Summerset Theatre welcomes community members of all backgrounds and ages to audition.
Rehearsals will typically be held in the evenings and on weekends. “Annie” will run from June 13-16 and June 21-23, while “Bright Star” will take the stage from July 31 to August 4.

7:30 – 9:00 pm – Adults (Annie and Bright Star)
Saturday, April 13
9:00 am – Kids (Annie only)
10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Adults (Annie and Bright Star)
