Disney+ show “Daredevil” is now filming in NYC and casting for paid extras.
The new Marvel Daredevil show coming in 2024 to Disney+ stars Stars Charlie Cox, Margarita Levieva and Wilson Bethel. Filming has begun in the New York City area and New York residents have a chance to get cast in a small, non speaking role in the Disney production.
Following the journey of Matt Murdock, a lawyer grappling with his alter ego as a nighttime vigilante, the show delves into the intricate duality of his existence. Blinded in childhood, Murdock’s heightened senses transform him into Daredevil, a fearless protector of New York City’s streets after sundown. While his daytime pursuits demand faith in the legal system, his nocturnal endeavors compel him to take justice into his own hands, safeguarding Hell’s Kitchen and its environs from the clutches of crime.

“Daredevil: Born Again” is set to premiere on the streaming platform Disney+ in 2024. Inspired by the iconic Marvel Comics character Daredevil. The upcoming Disney+ show, based on the Marvel “Daredevil” franchise, unveils another chapter of the vast Marvel universe and is poised to become a cornerstone of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Produced by Marvel Studios, the show integrates into the franchise’s film canon. It follows in the footsteps of the acclaimed Daredevil (2015–2018) series produced by Marvel Television and Netflix. The Disney+ ittiration of “Daredevil” is spearheaded by showrunner Dario Scardapane, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as lead directors.
Returning to the role of Matt Murdock / Daredevil isCharlie Cox, reprising his acclaimed portrayal from Marvel’s previous Netflix series and other Marvel Studios productions. Joining him in this adventure are a stellar cast including Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Sandrine Holt, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Clark Johnson, Arty Froushan, Zabryna Guevara, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Wilson Bethel.
This new “Daredevil” TV series has been in the works for a few years and like many other shows, got delayed due to the months long strikes of last year.
Casting Notice for Daredevil on Disney+:
Out The Kitchen is seeking union and non-union BG to portray ballroom dancers. This will work Monday 3.11 through Friday 3.15 in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Interior work for the first four days and interior and exterior the fifth day. Must be available for all five days! There will be a wardrobe fitting on Monday Feb 26th in Long Island City Queens.
Looking for BG with actual ballroom dancing experience. Nothing choregraphed on the day, just looking for bg that know what they’re doing! Special ability rate of $218 for 8 hours. Wardrobe notes for this date are listed below. Must also be comfortable with atmospheric smoke and fake gunfire noises on set.
