Rock Hill, South Carolina, is a vibrant city with rich history. Located in York County.

The faith based movie series is filming in South Carolina and the project is currently casting paid background actors / extras, that live in and around the Rock Hill and Fort Mill areas of South Carolina.

The “God’s Not Dead” film series is a popular series of faith-based movies that aim to explore and defend the existence of God in a secular world. The franchise began with the release of the first film, “God’s Not Dead,” in 2014 and has since expanded with two sequels: “God’s Not Dead 2” in 2016 and “God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness” in 2018.

The first film follows the story of Josh Wheaton, a Christian college student who enrolls in a philosophy class taught by an atheist professor named Jeffrey Radisson. The professor challenges his students to sign a declaration stating “God is dead” to pass the class. However, Josh refuses to comply and is given an opportunity to defend his belief in God in a series of debates with the professor. The film also explores the lives of other characters, including a Muslim student struggling with her faith and a Christian woman facing opposition from her boyfriend for her religious beliefs.
