Well, here is the information on how to apply to be on the Discovery survival competition, Naked and Afraid.
The long running survival competition takes online applications from survivalists who would like to test their survival skills on a show. The producers of the show have an online application for Naked and Afraid and those bold enough to take on the challenge, don’t even have to leave home to apply. The show is currently airing its 17th season and people that would like to take part in future seasons on the reality survival series are welcome to put in their applications.
“Naked and Afraid” airs on the Discovery Channel and follows the journey of two survivalists who are brought together naked and tasked with surviving in the wilderness for 21 days. Each survivalist is permitted to bring one useful item, like a machete or a fire starter. Upon meeting at the designated location, the partners must collaborate to construct shelter, locate water, and forage for food…Yeah, it’s not the easiest of gigs. However, people who get on “Naked and Afraid” are not actually alone because there is a camera crew that follows the couple around but rumor has it that they are not able to intervene unless there is a serious emergency.
The good news is that you don’t actually are shown naked on TV…afraid? yes, naked, not really. This series normally has their contestants find some leaves and foraged materials to use as clothing.
