Extras casting directors in New Mexico will be holding an open call for multiple productions.
According to news reports, the projects being cast are Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions project, and a Netflix series. With both projects currently in preproduction, there are numerous roles available for background actors.
These productions are in need of 1000’s of people. That’s right, 1000’s. The extras casting company will be hiring anywhere from 5000 to 6000, paid background actors in New Mexico.

The Extras casting directors are Alessi Hartigan Casting whose credits include “Oppenheimer,” “Barbie,” “Opus” and “The Lone Ranger.” This is just a two of the projects that will be filming this spring and summer in the New Mexico area and by the recent news, seems that New Mexico will be a hot bed of film production this year.
The open call will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Revel in ABQ – Revel is located at 4720 Alexander Blvd. NE.
Those interested in attending must be local to the area as this is an in person call and should fill out an application prior which is available at at alessihartigancasting.com.
They will be required to create a profile and upload all thier information.
“We’re doing everything digitally,” Hartigan said. “Once each person registers, get to Revel and we make sure all their information is correct. Then when we need background actors as we are casting, we have that list to pull from. It’s exciting to see so much movement.”
