Join the cast of “Jersey Boys” at Fort Wayne Civic Theatre for auditions for the musical, Jersey Boys!
Directed and choreographed by Leslie Beauchamp, with musical direction by Ben Wedler.
Set to run at the Fort Wayne Civic Theater in Indiana from May 4th to May 19th, 2024, over three weekends, Jersey Boys offers a journey through the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
Jersey Boys chronicles the remarkable rise of four blue-collar kids to become one of the greatest success stories in pop music history. Winner of both Tony Awards® and Olivier Awards®, this musical delves into the secrets behind a 40-year friendship as the group navigates their way from the streets of New Jersey to the pinnacle of stardom. Featuring chart-topping hits like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” Jersey Boys celebrates the timeless classics that earned The Four Seasons a well-deserved spot in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

Audition Details:
We invite individuals aged 18 and above to audition. Prepare 32 bars (approximately one and a half minutes) of a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ song or a piece in the style of your preferred character. Alternatively, you may choose a selection from the show. Please provide clearly printed sheet music with cuts marked for the accompanist or use accompaniment tracks if preferred.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, at the Arts United Center, located at 303 E. Main St., starting at 6:00 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled for Monday, March 4th, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sign up by March 1st for a specific time slot via the provided link.
Rehearsals will run from March 18th to April 26th, with additional Sunday rehearsals if needed. Tech rehearsal is scheduled for April 28th, followed by dress rehearsals from April 29th to May 1st. Performances will take place over three weekends, starting from May 4th to May 19th, 2024, with various call times for evening and matinee shows.
All interested candidates must complete the audition form available at fwcivic.org and bring it along with a headshot or selfie photo to the audition. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early at the Arts United Center, entering from the rear of the building through the glass doors to the Green Room. If you didn’t submit your audition form and photo in advance, bring them with you to give to the stage manager upon arrival.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
You must be age 18 years old or older to audition.
For the audition, please select 32 bars (about a minute and a half) of a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ song or in style of your preferred character. If you would like to sing from the show, please feel free to do so. Please provide clearly printed sheet music with cuts clearly marked for the provided accompanist. You may use accompaniment tracks if you wish.
