The Norwich Theater Company is hosting auditions for its fifth annual “A Toast to Broadway” cabaret show.
The theater is seeking 12 performers in total, 6 men and 6 women and performers must be at least 16 years of age. The theater is located at 27 West Main St , Norwich, NY, 13815.
“A Toast to Broadway” is a yearly cabaret-style show featuring local singers performing a range of Broadway songs. The Norwich Theater Company, explained that the event serves as an annual fundraiser for the company. Attendees can enjoy a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, raffles, and a complimentary champagne toast.
Auditions:
Friday, April 19, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Performance of “A Toast to Broadway” will be June 8th, 2024.
This is a fundraising cabaret and is a lot of fun. Performers must be at least 16 years of age.
They will be casting 6 & 6 – that is, 6 female-presenting performers and 6 male-presenting performers.
What to Prepare:
Please come prepared to sing a Broadway show tune to a backing track. Many backing tracks will be available at the audition and performers are also welcome to bring their own. Very little dance is required for this show – there will not be dance auditions.
