The Watertown Players invite you to audition for “A Fox on the Fairway” by Ken Ludwig, a delightful comedy in partnership with Samuel French, Inc.
This production will grace the stage of The Watertown Players Theater, located at 210 S Water St (in the Market), Watertown, Wisconsin, on April 19, 20, 26, 27, and 28, 2024. Directed by the talented Jennie Ortega, auditions will take place at the theater on Saturday, March 2, from 9 am – noon. No acting experience is necessary, and no special preparation is required as auditioners will read from the script.
Roles are available for six adults—three females and three males—ages 25-45. While age is a guideline, casting decisions will prioritize finding the right fit for each character. Rehearsals will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings at the theater.

“A Fox on the Fairway” unfolds at the Quail Valley Country Club during the annual Inter-Club Championship against the Crouching Squirrel Country Club. The competition takes a hilarious turn when a hefty wager between the club heads leads to amusing antics involving golf, love affairs, and a lost engagement ring. This uproarious comedy promises a delightful evening of entertainment!
