Shark Tank is coming back in 2024 with season 16 and an open casting call is scheduled in Portsmouth, VA for entrepreneurs who would love a chance to pitch to the sharks.

Mixing business drama, compelling pitches, and strategic negotiations, “Shark Tank” has become a cultural phenomenon and has also given some lucky entrepreneurs the kick start needed to take their business and products to the next level.

SHARK TANK CASTING CALL – PORTSMOUTH, VA
Calling all entrepreneurs with groundbreaking ideas and products! ABC’s “Shark Tank” is gearing up for its 16th season and, for the first time, is bringing the casting call to the Old Dominion at Rivers Casino Portsmouth.

Location: Rivers Casino Portsmouth Event Center
Time: Open Call begins at 9 a.m.
How to Apply: Applications are available on ABC’s website and on-site. (https://abc.com/shows/shark-tank/open-call) Numbered wristbands will be distributed between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., with the first pitches starting at approximately 10 a.m. Aspiring contestants can start lining up at 8 a.m.
Pitch Preparation: While the Sharks won’t be present at casting calls, applicants are encouraged to impress the Shark Tank casting team with their passion and dazzling pitches. Prepare as if you’re on the show, showcasing your business, product, or idea in a one-minute pitch.
Equal Opportunity: All participants will have an equal chance to present their pitches to a member of the casting team during the open call. Let your passion and personality shine as you share your innovative creations.
